Michelle Marie Adams is a dynamic, highly organized senior level industry professional with over 10 years of meeting and event planning experience and has been a Certified Meeting Professional since 2008.
She discovered her passion for planning while working at MetLife Investors as she was quickly promoted to meeting planner within the first year of employment. In 2006 she decided to move to the east coast where she accepted the Event Director position with Potomac Management Resources (PMR), where she spent five and a half years. In July of 2011 Michelle Marie made the “leap of faith” and decided to join the Prestige Hotels and Destinations team in the mid-Atlantic region and New York as a Regional Sales Director. From planner to service!!!
Michelle Marie is an extremely active member of the Potomac Chapter of Meeting Professionals International (PMPI), receiving the PMPI Star of the Month for October of 2008, PMPI Planner of the Year for 2009/2010, and currently serving her 2nd year on the board.
When Michelle Marie is not traveling for work or play; she contributes to the community. She is an active member of the DC Young Benefactors, a member of the Nation's Capital Alumnae Chapter of Kappa Delta, and donates clothing and new toys to an Alexandria VA half-way house in early December. Of course she loves to spend time with her family (little sister Cherie in photo above), and if that was not enough, she teaches yoga on the weekends and at 6am on Wednesday and Fridays!
