Lesly is very proud to return to the PMPI Board of Directors, where she served as Board Director of Strategic Events for 2008-2009 and VP of Communications for 2010-2011. A member of PMPI since 2005, she was a 2 year committee member of Strategic Events before stepping up to the position of Co-Chair. She was honored to receive the 2007-2008 PMPI Rising Star Award, in addition to the June 2008 Star of the Month. She is also an active member of the NATCAP chapter of SGMP, where she was named the 2007 Supplier of the Year. She received her degree in Hotel Management and has been in the hospitality industry for over 20 years, associated with Marriott, Starwood, Benchmark Hospitality, and Interstate Hotels – in both regional and directors positions. In addition she has also spent several years in destination sales leading the DC sales effort for the Valley Forge Convention and Visitors Bureau. She resides in Northern Virginia, with her husband and son.
