Marketing & PR Committee
Together the Marketing team creates and launches exciting ad campaigns for the promotion PMPI and of all our PMPI events. Collaboration is our main task working diligently with all committees to make sure we have all the ammunition needed to properly and successfully launch a new ad campaign. If you have a creative side and an eye for catchy ads, then this is the committee for you!
Responsibilities:
- Maintain PMPI website
- Create powerpoints for PMPI events
- Collaborate with other committees on marketing campaign development and launch
- Manage the social media outlets, facebook, twitter, linked in
- Create graphics for all PMPI events
- Manage the master marketing calendar for PMPI
We encourage committee members to engage in at least 1 campaign through the course of the year. You could post facebook, tweet, become a liaison to a committee for their particular event, or create a fantastic graphic from scratch. The involvement possibilities are endless. A typical committee member will spend no more than 10 minutes to 30 minutes per week when they volunteer for a campaign.
PMPI Story:
In 2010-2011 the marketing team decided to take on a massive project of revamping the PMPI website… no small task as you can imagine… but they made it happen and on July 1st you will be able to navigate your way thru the brand new and exciting site. The teams stuck together and made it happen as a team! We are looking forward to another challenge in 2011-2012… join us!
