Member Recognition Committee
The purpose of this committee is to provide recognition and appreciation to PMPI members for their dedication to the Chapter and contributions to the industry.
Responsibilities:
The PMPI Cares Program, was established to assist members who cannot afford to attend professional developmental and educational opportunities. Our role is to promote and create awareness of this Program, as well as raise funds and award scholarships to fellow chapter members.
The Coveted PMPI Shining Star Award is given each Quarter to an outstanding individual who has stood out amongst their peers. We promote, tally and award an outstanding STAR at our Learning Experience Events.
We recognize all PMPI member’s birthday’s with special birthday recognition, and thank our long standing members through recognition at Evening of the Stars.
The
“Evening of the Stars” PMPI Annual Meeting & Awards Reception recognizes the BEST OF THE BEST in our membership and industry! Volunteerism is the heart of PMPI’s success. We recognize our wonderful members who contribute by going above and beyond, as well as install the incoming Board.
Time Commitment:
- Take an active role within the committee by attending or participating via conference call in a minimum of 5 committee meetings during the 2011 – 2012 year.
- Contribute to meeting discussions and voice objective opinions on Committee issues.
- Volunteer to complete at least one task related to at least one PMPI Member Recognition during the year.
- Join with an open mind and be ready to have some fun as well! We enjoy getting together on a regular basis outside of task work!
