Strategic Events Committee
Do people describe you as the “artistic” or “creative” type? Are you someone who likes to think “outside the box?” Have you ever wanted to try your hand at turning a meeting venue into a magical experience? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then Strategic Events is the Committee for you! Our Committee prides itself on being able to take the networking experience to an entirely new level by creating amazing atmospheres and memorable moments that enhance the art of building business and social relationships. Whether its marketing, copywriting, logistical planning, or anything in between, this Committee is the perfect place to explore new skill sets and show off your talents. So if you want to help in making the magic happen, then Strategic Events is the Committee for you to join.
Responsibilities:
- Working with SASS to secure locations for events
- Working with marketing & PR for the promotion of each event
- Conducting event logistics pre, on-site and post event
- Secure any additional entertainment or decor needed
By joining this committee you will get to think out of the box and plan super fun events. Each committee member’s contribution time will vary depending on how much time you wish to contribute. You could committee to as little as 10 minutes per week or jump right in and plan the event which would take a bit more time over the course of a month or two. It really just depends on how much time you can contribute; we have a task for everyone!
PMPI Story:
This last year was the launch of a brand new event called Derby Days! It was a blast! Everyone dressed in the Kentucky Derby best and participated in live horse racing while sipping a mint julep! It was exciting to bring all the best parts of the Derby to our PMPI members!
