With almost 1000 members, the Potomac Chapter is an affiliate of Meeting Professionals International (MPI), the world's largest association of meeting professionals with more than 21,000 members and 67 chapters. As a premier meeting industry forum, PMPI promotes professional development and enhances the recognition of the profession in our business community. PMPI provides extensive educational programs and an active exchange of ideas that meet the diverse needs of our members. These individuals control an average annual budget of $1.4 million and are each responsible for booking at least 1,200 room nights per year.
